If aeroflyRC isn’t running smoothly on your Windows PC, you can adjust the following settings to improve performance:
Note: All of the points mentioned here only apply to graphics cards that meet the minimum requirements for a Vulcan-compatible 3D graphics card with 2 GB of RAM.
Please first enable the frame rate (FPS) display via the blue main menu and Settings -> Graphics -> Show FPS. The frame rate should be above 30 frames per second.
If your PC doesn’t reach this value, please try these settings:
Set aeroflyRC to windowed mode under Graphics -> Resolution and resize the window to the monitor size. Windowed mode requires significantly less graphics performance than full-screen mode.
Disable the full-screen mode under Settings -> Graphics -> Display FPS. Visual aids: all additional displays such as wind arrows.
General tip: Always ensure adequate cooling of the graphics card, especially if you’re using a laptop. Experience has shown that dusty or blocked fans can also cause excessively high internal temperatures and frame drops.
